Is the recent publication of Ken wharfe's book about his time as Diana's personal bodyguard a rather offensive attempt of generating personal wealth or is there a more sinister reason.
Ken wharfe was dismissed as personal protection officer to The Princess of Wales in 1993 in what the palace discribed as a conflict of interest, but what Mr Wharfe discribed as a compromise in security, we have to respect his comments as one of the metropolitan police's most capable close protection officers. His relationship with the family was well respected especially by the royal family as being proffessional and supportive at all times.
Ken Wharfe has been in full time employment since his dissmissal in 1993 and has had 9 years to publish this book, so why do it know.
All close protection and intelligence officers working for Governments always recognise their exposure to slease and corruption, a risk assessment for their own personal saftey, will show the need for a security blanket, a file of information that could be used to protect an individual from their client if the contract fell foul, this is widely recognised in the industry.
The big question being asked by many is, has Ken Wharfe published the book in which he has included some less sensative information from his security blanket as a way of saying "back off or I'll blow the lot", in an attempt to throw off any threat to discredit his personal profile.
In an interview on British television this week he is clearly uncomfortable with aligations of profiteering, as well as being very carefull with all answers involving his dismissal and any compromises in The Princesses security during his employment. Prince William is said to be "especially disapointed" with the publication of the book as he had a close relationship with Mr Wharfe and from what he could remember could only commend his time
as a member of the Royal Protection Squad.
The conspiracy around the death of The princess of Wales continues, is it possible that a new player is now involved? |
