The word u.nion (without the dot) causes problems.
Why would you think people are trying to shut you up, a bit harsh on this website not? |

well thank you very very much !!
I sure feel much better now.. It was a very frustrating evening and all night trying to get this new topic to post.
thank you for your expertise in this confusing matter.!
John chapter 10. Jesus said.. I call my sheep by name.. Jesus goes into great detail in that chapter.. how he will actually speak to us.
I have heard his voice many times. it is very soft.. never loud.
new member introductions!!
ha ha.. My name is Pakak (puck uck) ( to rummage through something looking for something) ESKIMO WORD
My other eskimo name is Tamak (TUM UCK)
..."TO BECOME LOST" roflmao !!
you just gotta read my snowmobile story..that was truely one of the GREATEST amazng answers to prayer I have ever received.
I truely don't know why I am alive. I am almost 60 and I have somehow.. someway..survived 5 heart attacks. 3 strokes
lost all my eye sight three years ago and got it all back despite doctors saying it would never be recovered.
I PLACE NO FAITH IN ANY MAN... I do BELIEVE with all my Heart.
I know God.. He exists! He is so close.. if you just DEMAND he PROVE IT`..
Hey.. In Malachi chapter 2.. God says those very words..
Prove me... .. .. TEST ME.. .. .. and see if I won't give BACK
I gave.. (I love to give) Jesus said it is much better to give than receive.. I had to check that out to see if it was true.
IT IS!
I gave this away..
FOR FREE. I paid cash for that $42k one payment.
and the rewards we got were overwheliming.
I was doing something that was TOTALLY AGAINST ALL LOGIC
I was merly "testing or proving" to see if God would honor HIS PROMISE. He sure did.
what is the problem ?? why is it so hard to acknolwedge that God does indeed exist ? True. it is a walk of FAITH not by sight..but by FAITH. |

For me it is, you'll just have to accept that.
Anyhow, you are welcome and glad you found the problem. |

two eskimo hunters were at the Old town site. (village got moved)
hunting ducks.. two ducks flew over and one hunter fired a shot and one of the ducks got hit and died.. the other duck "dive bombed' towards the owners house.. the owner took careful aim as that duck was diving toward his house. .. BOOM.. the hunter shot.. his own dog !!.. them be some smart ducks up here!!
The duck that got away.. would make a good short movie clip!
Seasoned Veterans! Believe it or not.. THAT IS.. true story!
The Charmin's and Unacauk had some strange powers, in the stories that are told around here. |

"medicne man" witch doktor" ? I don't know whqt the correct terminology is but here is what I hear.
Many years ago a "sharmin" .. .. used his powers on a rifle that wouldn't work. this rifle was useless. he merly had to point it at someone and say bang, and the person would fall over dead.
The rifle was buried along with the sharmin when he died. Many many years later, due to the eroision that is occuring up here., The rifle surfaced in the old town site.. Some children were playing and they found it. One boy picked up the rifle and pointed it at the other two.. and said bang bang. both children died.
The rifle was destoyed and burned!
Whaling festival: A mother proudly display's her handi work for her entire family. In the old days. A woman had to make all new clothing for her entire family for whaling festival. before. she was allowed to go to bed for sleep! Whaling Festival has some very strange traditions. Do you think you know what blanket toss is all about.? You just won't believe this next story. I wish I had the images to prove this. but I was laughing too hard, and everything was happening so fast, that I have no images to show, the depict what I am about to describe.
Blanket Toss is a commuity event, Held every June during the 3 day whaling festival. People from all over the state, and all over the world, come to Point Hope for this event.
Originally many years ago. Blanet toss were for the hunters down at the lead opening, Tossing a hunter into the air, to see if whales are approaching.
Now in modern times, blanket toss is used to determine the future.
Here is "their mindset " on this tradition.
Who ever has had a first born son, gets on the blanket. STOP. anyone may get on the blanket for a 'ride" and if your not careful you can easily break a leg. or worse. but back to the mother with a first born child. She gets on the blanket and she has a bag, of candy, or furs, or money, or trinkets etc. when she is thrown high into the air. she lets everything fly. Heer is how next year is going to be determined. All the little chiredn are running as soon as they see all that candy or what ever fly all over the place. they are running. Now if one little child gets there hands on ANYTHING. it will be a very bad year, next year.
As I stated earlier this was all happening way too fast, and due to the hilarous nature of the event. there was no way I could have captured this in all its entirety.
It is up to all the elderly women 70, 80 and up.. to get all of everything.
do you think NFL football is tough? nope. not compared to blanket toss.
the NFL has rules..
blanket toss has no rules.
these women play for keeps. diving head first into gravel, grabbing a child by the hair and tossing him over her shoulder as she is running to tackle the next child. anything goes. there are no time outs! I am still wondering how these very old ladies can survive without breaking every bone in their bodies.
Running, diving, tackeling, throwing hildren left and right. Two young boys are standing near me.. looking at some stuph on the ground about ten feet away. One child says. Kii (key) go ahead, get it.. the other say.. nah. she hits too hard!!
These old women want whales next year. and they really believe that if the child is successful. there will be no whales.?

Aquaq is making Caribou (Tuttu) ( 2 - 2) soup! This is great stuff.. no fat at all on caribou meat.!
cook up about 3 pounds of meat freshly ground, and when it is cooked there will be less than a tea spoon of fat.!
Fresh Hot Soup every day, Caribou Soup, Duck soup, Cambells ? nah. we don't need that stuff! |
