There is far less excuse for the Secret Service's fascist moves inside the Convention. The conventions are part of the democratic process, and act as Electoral College for candidates and delagates may switch sides. It doesn't really matter who got the most delagates if their is siding switch in the convention. Example Obama could still have lost to Clinton if delagates vote her way. However this is about the RNC and its mainstream fears of one its own party candidates former Libertarian, congressman Ron Paul. The Secret Service is actively supressing the delagates rights to Ron Paul related materials to further the John McCain cause and prevent any side switches. The Ron Paul people inside are not protestors but democratically elected representative delegates. Such suppresion only disoplays the elitist fascist character of the controlling parties heirarchies and the back room dealings that go on leading to shadow governments.

ediited to add additional links of repression the Paul supporters at the RNC.

The US President can now waive or secretly change Executive Orders. Executive orders are not a constitutional power, (The Executive Order is an unwritten law or implied power which technically should be illegal in a democracy or republic) they are pigeonholed bills from the President that if they are voted on in Congress become law by being admitted into the congressional record. Apparently they can even bypass Congrees entirely now to be modified at the President's whim.

How dark is the blue in Old Glory? Has it turned Black Yet? Obviously we are living under the colors of the red, white, and black, how long untillthe flag matches with the words "we shall tread on you" or "United we stand and all other shall fall divided or not" emblazoned on it.

And if VP office is protected by Executive privelege and isn't responsible to the Legislature (Congress) but is attached to Congress than the VP is above the law. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080921/ap_on_go_pr_wh/cheney_lawsuit

The buy out of failed business makes the huge amount of loans owed to the Government, (aka the King of America owns you), yet isn't this hypocritical because rich business owners don't like it when Hugo Chavez buys failed business in Venezuala so workers can work? The difference is the the workers here are rich the ones there are poor.

And how the heck does the USA get a gag order on BRitish news stories about 23 billion dollars of missing money?

In the story Starship Troopers we learn that "Services means citzenship", that is to have the right to vote you must serve in the military. In our own country we have seen grandfather laws used to keep people from voting, aka if your grandfather wasn't free you can't vote. In many states we've seen convicted felons lose their vote permanantly. Now we see this unconstitutional ugliness rise agin, this time in Macomb County, Michigan. Under the guise of preventing voting fraud the Republican party chairman there has proposed disenfranchising anyone whose house has been foreclosed.

Think about this carefully with the downfall of major banks and the mortgages not reverting to the lendees foreclosures will make a steep rise from one that is already spiralling out of control. People generally stay in the house and try to bargain there way out of foreclosures hoping for re-finance. Yet now we have some neo-stealth fascists trying to take away the famalies constitutional right to have a say in their own government. Hopefully this unconstitutional practice will be put down before it spreads, but in a country where fear of "uncontrollable" economic meltdownis being spread by the Major Media [code for Rightwing fascist bootlickers], and can only be saved by saving the rich such practices may stay entrenched for decades to come.

The voting challenge is a double edged sword, and it is not new by any means. 1960 Presidential Campaign is where this originally started. Kennedy somehow won Ohio using a bunch of dead people living at addresses that either no longer existed or were owned under different families. It was easy to get away with since the housing market absolutely boomed right after the Korean War. This is what happens when history comes back full swing to bite you in the ass.

The difference now is foreclosures are rampant, and purges of voter rolls are more common. It is apparently easier to disenfranchise oppoisition vorers than drum up dead ones today. If you go back to the very start of this thread you may note, If it is there anymore, that somewhere over 70000 voters were disenfranchised in Florida because of a purge list which put similar names together. However My concern over the foreclosure equals no vote also comes down to the impression that it may become foreclosure means no legal rights whatsoever and eventual serfdom in the distant future. Its not a very likeable idea.

Everyonce in a while a leftward swing towards centrism stops a fascist move. In Michigan officials recently told local officials taht foreclosure lists aren't enough to deny voters access they need more proof to prove vote fraud, thusly some voters wont be illegally stopped from their patriotic duty in November.

One of the very few DVD Movie Director's Commentary worth listening to is in The Sum of All Fears. Actually worth listening to, there is a tet-a-tet between the Director (Phil Robinson) and Tom Clancy where Clancy mentions his worry that the US is moving to Socialism and the Director says that he thought Fascism was the bigger threat. Very interesting. I think both were correct. Fascism and Socialism look a lot alike sometimes.

Also very telling is The Black Book of Communism. See the customer reviews.

And of course the Socialist's/Fascist's ultimate Bible, as always, has been 1984:

http://www.amazon.com/1984-Signet-Classics-George-Orwell/dp/0451524934/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1222814209&sr=1-2

All part of the theme. The world is moving in directions that no one likes. Some people saw what was happening just prior to WWII and the rise of Nazism but most people didn't or didn't want to. People today seem just as oblivious as they were in 1930.

"You can just ignore it." - Marina Oswald

Yeah, for a while.
