I can think of more shooters with big guns that leave CoD standing there, holding it's ....
Half Life, Painkiller, Bioshock, Crysis, Quake Wars, Battlefield 2, ...
I never said I didn't enjoy CoD, CoD United Offense, CoD II. I just think it's not worth the hype that it's getting. |

| I'm just talking about the multiplayer aspect, I agree there a lot of single player games that are much greater then COD4 especially in regards to story telling and originality. |

Are you a PC gamer by chance?
Crysis, in my honest opinion, only had its pretty looks going for it. The story was terrible, the weapons were mediocre at best, and the gameplay was sluggish... like some cheap rip-off of Halo.
Bioshock was the same, I was just so incredibly bored with it. It lacked any sort of enticing in-depth multiplayer and the I just could not get into the story of it.
I haven't played the others, so I'll make it a note to do so.
All I'm getting at is that COD4 is a solid game if you're looking for a good, fast paced multiplayer. |

I am a PC-gamer, exclusively a PC-gamer.
I am not going to argue about what game is better. I have my choices, you have yours, thus coming to terms will be slightly impossible. Happy gaming. |
