| You seem to think everything is fake. And yes it is a coyote, or at least some weird mutated form of one wich does happen from time to time in nature. I've seen that thing before on Monsterquest, but knowing you, you probably think thats faked too.. |

Lousy humor: Don't let Al-Qaeda see it, it looks like a Typical American Pig-Dog.
If it's for real (as it well may be), it's the ugliest member of Canis I've ever seen.
More lousy humor: Elvis wrote a song about it, Hunk-a Shunka Burnin' Love.
Seriously, this also could have been an inventive taxidermist, I've seen too many jackalopes already. Any more valid research on the subject?

Since I`ve seen alot of bullshit in the last 15 years or more.
Specially this morons that only lies and tricks people then do you really expect me to believe in any proof they show?
I`m not a person that relies on faith because that doensīt lead to anything.
If I want to acknowledge something then the only one who can do it is me by taking matters into my own hands.
And if it really was a real discovery of a chupacabra then by all means it wouldnīt look like a coyote from all the thousands of descriptions everyone else have. |

That is no coyote. The head is much too large for a coyote. |

I would agree with you, except the front legs are shorter than the back legs, backward for a hyena. I would say it is something unknown, though not necessarily a chupocabra. |

It seems that any strange looking, 4 legged cryptid dog-like creature is labeled a Chupacabra. The original reports out of the Latin American Countries describes more of a bipedal type of creature often with a row of spike-like growths coming out of it's back. A blood sucker none the less. I would imagine these dog or hyena-like cryptids are meat eaters rather than just blood drinkers.
These Shunka Warakin creatures could be a mutant species or else a leftover from earlier times as there was several species of Hyena and 'Bear Dogs' once roaming North and South America.
Coyote have been known to breed with various types of dogs. A lady in a county near to me shot one of these crossbreeds that was attempting to make a meal out of her pet cat. This dog/critter looked to be half Coyote and half hound. Large with floppy hound ears. Perhaps the mother/bitch was one of the many DeerHounds that have left their hunter/master and run halfwild through the woods.
