This one came as a surprise to me while researching a factoid about Arctic ice and near-record low levels of it. Please follow the link for more info:

I haven't checked the validity of the site or the info it contains but if it's legit, it serves to show we have a great deal to learn about 'global warming', the polar ice caps and Earth's weather patterns/trends.
So far, the authenticity is checking out positive.
