I have no idea why this was reported to NUFORC or why they are investigating it, but it is indeed a strange encounter.
"NORTHBROOK, ILLINOIS, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 04, 2008, 21:20 HRS. (LOCAL)
A young woman was driving at 40-45 mph along Lake Cook Road, when her car suddenly lurched to the right for no reason that was apparent to her. There were no cars within sight on the road, and she had not seen any pedestrian or animal near the car. She stopped her car immediately, got out, and apparently was flabbergasted by the appearance of the left side of her automobile.
The investigating police officer could not provide an adequate explanation for the damage. He noted that there was no damaged paint, and no animal hair, feathers, or blood, evident on the damaged area of the car. NUFORC has passed the case along to Mr. Sam Maranto, Illinois State Director for the Mutual UFO Network (“MUFON”), for follow-up investigation.
We have no reason to believe that the incident was UFO-related, but we have no explanation for how the extensive damage to the car could have occurred. "

1. It was an invisible deer. Poor things, we hardly SEE them any more.
2. Guess they just don't build 'em like they used to...
3. So THAT's how that dent got in my saucer!

either the car has great paint job done(i need that for mine for sure ) or it has gone thru a sudden temperature changes which made both doors and rear and back side of the car look like melted to inside, which apparently also makes you think as something has bumped your car.
it is interesting how both doors are similar by damage, if the deer or larger tree chunk would hit the car at a speed max of 50kph it would made only a scratch, deer would fly away after a first impact, so does the tree chunk leaving no real damage.
this is really worth an investigation, not every day you see such things, keep us informed! |
