Like any other TV show, you'll want to take it with a grain of salt. Not bad for what it is, the publisher of UFO Magazine is on it regularly. I'd say on a scale of 1 to 10, it's a 6. The material's usually interesting, the behavior and preconceptions of the UFO mag guy usually questionable. Go ahead and download an episode or two, and as Dejarma said, judge for yourself.

I too am interested in this show. Let us know. Didn't John produce this show?
"Upstate New York" and you don't have TV? Sounds like you're in prison. I gave up network TV 10 years ago, don't miss it a bit. Gave up SAT TV 2 months ago, don't miss it either. TV went downhill when SciFi died and Benny Hill. |

When it comes to American made UFO documentaries, I donīt watch much. Itīs too commercial and rehersed...
The Brittish ones are alot more interesting though...
And yes I like some of the US documentaries aswell but not these "UFO Hunters"... |

Fort Drum NY to be exact, I'm in the Army. I live in a small room and really dont have room for a TV. The show wasnt too bad, i'll atch a few more of them. |

This I have to agree with. It was fun watching that one turkey trying to pry information out of Nevada Test Site workers, more so when the DOD Police ran him off. I wonder if he noticed their holster straps were unsnapped?
Dommiel, it's got to be friggin' freezing up there, keep warm.

OK, so you are in prison. Well, better NY then Bad Dad or Afghan Stan, tired of that sand. Like Stargate without the cool alien or Snake Pliskin. |

It's pretty good. It's at its strongest when they are dealing with newer cases. The episodes where older cases are the focus are a bit of a yawn. There is quite a bit of difference in the personalities of the team. Bill Birnes seems to be the true believer. There doesn't seem to be a single case that he doesn't see as definitive proof for alien contact, ha ha. I think he's the weakest link on the show but he does have the most personality so I guess the situation with him is give/take. The other guys are more sensible. The most noteworthy thing this show has accomplished so far is that they totally demolished much of the NASA UFO footage in one swoop. You might remember the tether footage in particular. They did an experiment that showed definitively that the footage was merely a camera quirk, not flying saucers. Another big thing they did is prove that the Rendlesham case of the 80s could not have possibly been due to a lighthouse. The part of the lighthouse facing the base had a steel cover on it so it was impossible for the light from it to have been shining through the trees as the debunkers have claimed. Instead the light beams out to sea only. |
