I think if he was being chased by flesh eating zombies, even Aquarian wouldn't be hesitant to pick up a puppy and use it as a nunchuck. |
You think he even watches these kind of movies? |
I do.
I disliked LAND OF THE DEAD.
Loved Dawn of the Dead and have seen the older versions and I still say the new Dawn of the Dead is better. I also love the Resident Evil trilogy. |
What about Diary Of The Dead? |

I must put that on my list.
Thanks! |

Well said MIB....
I remember seeing DOTD on a Sunday Afternoon in NYC at the Rivoli Theatre back in April of 1979 and loved it sooooo much I sat through it twice...
Then the following week in NJ I sat throught it two more times....
Added more of my fave scenes from DOTD for your enjoyment...
Roger and Peter Go Truckin In PA
BIKER ASSAULT
Tom Savini Gets Wasted
PETER DECIDES TO LIVE !!!
OK Fellow DOTD Fans : Question Time....
HOW WOULD YOU HAVE SECURED THAT MALL BETTER ?
I would've placed trucks at every entrance to the mall and used the Chopper to locate the nearest NG Armory in the Pittsburgh area to gather up more firearms and Claymores to place around the perimeter... |

A mall does seem like a good place in such an event. The problem is holding & securing such a big space. Especially with such a tiny group.
If I recall correctly, they were doing relatively okay until that human gang showed up.
And what fascinates me about it is the personality clashes, like in Night, where the survivors often seem to cause themselves unnecessary problems.
Has anyone here read "World War Z" by Max Brooks, I think is his name. I might give it a try if I can find a copy. |

They should've also stationed someone as a lookout on top of the Mall to watch out for any Raiders or other dangers and had a plan to secure the place ASAP...
It also seems they forgot to secure the Loading Dock area properly as well where the Biker Gang got in...
Plus a lttle target practice to cull the growing Zombie Hordes outside would'nt have hurt to keep up their Firearms proficiency... |

And when the Biker Gang was trying to trick Fran, Peter, and Steven into letting them into the mall, they should've said the following...
"Hey we know you're trying to break in and steal a lot of stuff...so we can do this two ways....
1) You Storm the Mall and lose a lot of your people to Zombies, Our Gunfire, and other stuff or.....
2) You send in some Hot and Slutty Biker Chicks in Leather Jackets and Tight Jeans to service me and Stephen and a Hunky Biker Stud for Fran and we'll let them leave with Several Cases of Booze, Firearms, and other Goodies and we'll call it even !...
Oh and BTW if there's a Dude named Rob61872 with you, tell him Jenn radioed in and told him he better stop running around with you and have his butt back in Middletown within 48 hours or she'll feed him to the Zombies manhood first ! |

| A viral intrusion doesn't work IMO, it'd have to be collective of parasites that infected the host. Interestingly the Romero Zombie is more akin to 12th century Revenants and some versions of the Wendigo than the Haitian Zombie. |

Didn't Romero say somewhere he actually thought of them as ghouls? |
