The world we live in today is in drastic need of change. If we want to create a better future for all, the only way it will happen is through consciousness itself. It will take a level of consciousness the world has yet to see. To achieve a better future, or any future at all, we are the ones, the only ones, that can make it happen. The future is in our hands. Why is it in our hands you may ask? It is in our hands because we need to wake up to the reality that there is no one else to save us. We are living in the 21st century and there are still some that still have hope that there is something “up there”, “out there”. A divinity, a godhead, that will intervene in our everyday lives and make everything better. Of course there are many of us who have outgrown such beliefs. It should seem obvious that it is up to us to save ourselves from self-annihilation. But the question is, are we up to the task?
How many of us have even contemplated the profound implications surrounding our responsibilities to achieve a better future for humankind? It will take each and everyone of us in order to create that future now. Will this achievement require some sort of divinity? Perhaps so. But not the kind of divinity of duality, of some outside supernatural force, but a divinity that is the consciousness of the masses shaped into One, the only One. Our consciousness is the result of something exploding from nothing billions of years ago. From that moment to the present, the universe has evolved. And from consciousness, the idea of God came into being. Many Gods have been created, but not one of them can give us the salvation we so desperately need. To consciously evolve in truth, is to understand that there is no other. To understand that enlightenment is awakening ourselves to reveal that there is no other. Only the you and the me, together, with a collective consciousness creating our future in the evolving universe. The kind of future that is devoid from self-annihilation. We are the One, and the only One, which can secure that future in the evolving universe. |

Evolving universe. I agree with that statement. Since we are no where close to "wanting" to be "responsible" for shaping our current times and future.....and just to set the record straight there are those who don't look for divine intervention but look at politicians for intervention....still refusing to look at themselves......I'd say we are part of the evolving universe, not separate, and if evolution has shown anything it is that it experiments around and when things don't work and chaos is all that exists....it learns from it and creates harmony or balance.
I'm guessing as a species we are a fluke and flushing us down the toilette is an option. |
