| scientists were trying to work out formulas for it and kept hitting a snag.it came back to there needing a creator and a designer which is very scary when you think about it. |

I have never been a big fan of the multi-verse theory. It seems whimsical and even whacky.
But I do believe there can be a region "outside" our universe, and not only that, but we may be able to travel through that region. Mass would have no meaning in this region since there is no fabric of space, no Higgs field. So we could potentially travel as fast as we like. The term "outside" does not mean past the edge of the universe though. It means, decoupled from the fabric of space.
See blackvault's post on "Proposed Mission Could Study Space-Time Around Black Holes". I had a thought related to that, maybe the polarization of the X-rays is happening because under certain circumstances the fabric of space becomes hard. When energy encounters it its like sunlight hitting the dash of your car. So if in one instance its hard, in another it might become completely soft (meaning that you can decouple from it).
Superstring theory does seem to imply that this could be the case.
The problem with the multi-verse idea is how it was supposedly created? |

| Interesting show on PBS about the son of the guy who came up with the multi-verse theory. His son is a member of the band The Eels (did I get that right?). His music sounded pretty good. But, I like his dad's theory about as much as I did before. |

| i like the soap bubble theory. it seems to make more sense seein as the universe is round. but its all a mindfuk if you try and wrap your hed around the idea of co-existing realms. are black holes and quazars the doors to these dimensions? could there really be a dinosaur in my living room right now? |

OK
Consider the universe of all universes and the universe of al universes of universes ...
Hell - here comes another headache. |

| yes, it is like asking the question, if God created us, then who created him and so on and so forth. personally, i feel there are multiple universes. someone once said, "not only is the universe strange...it is stranger than we can imagine." from the bible, God created a "firmament" to separate the waters from under the "firmament" from the waters above the "firmament" and called this division "heaven." |
