The Island Geek is out of town and my buddy Bob has a computer problem, his "address bar" is missing. You know, the place where you type in www.etc. Off to the far right on this toolbar it says address with a > next to it, but nothing happens when you click on it.
We looked in view/toolbar/address bar, it's checked.
Any ideas?
Thanx,

Right-click the bit where it says address, this will bring up a menu. Make sure "lock toolbars" is unselected. Then you should have a small vertical line next to the words "address" which you can drag left to make the addres bar bigger, and right to make it smaller.
By holding the mouse down on the word "address" you can drag the address bar wherever you want it.
Hope this helps.
Also, it's probably quite offensive to call him "geek", especially if he is doing you a favour. Bad Tex!! *slap* |

Hehe. Well, if he's a self-proclaimed geek, it can't do any harm I suppose... |

What blows me away, humph, is the fact he is self-taught. He hasn't had any formal or vocational training, and the kid (20years old) is a whiz! He says he reads alot and gets alot of info off of the internet. But the kid is SMART!!
