I know this isn't really the place to post this, but, well, I don't know where else it should go. If you would like to somehow re-direct it to where it should be posted or know someone on here who could, then feel free to.
Anyway, to my story.
Today I walked out of where I have been staying and saw a group of 35 (I lost count after that) Canadian geese flying over my house.
Now, that is all well and good, except it is the middle of January and was a total of 22 degrees Fahrenheit outside today.
Also, I am currently in the Mid-West, and I know of the flight patterns of migratorial birds such as these. This is not normal for them.
They have been long gone from this area, since at least early-mid October, and it is way to soon for them to be coming back.
Aside from that, I have never seen them fly in such a large group here before and they not in the type of flight pattern they were using.
There was no V-formation what-so-ever. It was as if they were flying drunk, but I know this is not possible.
If anyone knows what would cause this or have any idea as to what could be going on, I would like your in-put.

I'll add my own little something to this.
Maybe something very good is happening in your life, or something soon will. Funny thing is, you didn't put this subject in the wrong forum, if you ask me.
I am a big believer in Big foot, whom we call 'Bagwajininni' (Ojibwe), spirit man of the woods. Big foot is a spirit from the North, and I have alot of respect and admiration for this spirit....I've had many visions of Big Foot, and in my culture Big Foot is somewhat of a 'holy' figure.
Last week I put out some blueberries and tabacco for Bagwajininni and said some prayers. As I was praying in the woods (a place I had a vision of him) about 20 geese flew over me, calling out. The temperature was maybe 10 degrees. And to me it was a sign of abundance!
Geese are signs of abundance, thankfullness, being rewarded, and family gathering of importance.
I put those blueberries and tabacco (with prayer) out for big foot because he is a spirit helper of mine, and I knew I was having a doctors appointment 2 days later to be checked for cervical cancer.
My test went perfect and I didn't even need a biopsy like they first suggested. Everything looked normal. (this was last week)
My point to adding my story: No matter how anyone else sees it- If you ever see geese in times it makes you think or question: Maybe its because they are there for you, sending you a blessing.
p.s. but dont worry about the cervical cancer stuff. |

This section will work for your story.
I would have to agree with everyone else and say that it is the weather. |

Very interesting. especially the part about the geese.
I live in a place that is a major bird sanctuary. Gazzillions of birds of every type.
During whaling season we see hudreds of thousands of ducks coming through the lead opening. it is well below zero..
These ducks fly very very low across the ice.
The hunters are all spread out along the giant ice pack that stretches clear across to Russia. You can actually walk straight across
the ducks enter the guantlet..the hunters open fire, ducks falling every where.. then they swerve to avoid the hunters, when they swerve to avoid the hunters in this area. they run straight into the next group. and more and more fall and die. as they zig zag through the lead.. very few make it out. and then the next group is coiming. zig zag and same results.
FRESH duck soup.. every day for weeks on end.
One day out on the ice. I was a "boyer" I had to stay up all night and keep the wood stove going and do the same chores that a boyer does. (Usually the boyer is a very young boy the age of 3 or so) yes.. hand a 3 year old matches and go to sleep!
when the new day begins.. the boyer is allowed to go to sleep at about 10 a.m. till about 1 or 2 in the afternoon.
I was alseep.. in the tent and at about 1 - 2 p.m. I woke up. my eyes opened and i just focused on the side of the tent and all I could see was fresh blood! I turned over and brought my hands up to my face so I could see them.. they were covered in blood also. I was grabbing myself all over in an absolute panic. Looking, feeling all over me. I sat up.. in a panic. blood all over me.
I looked up and over to my right at the two eskimo women who when they saw the puzzled look on my face just burst into uncontrollable laughter. Dad.. was out on the ocean ice.. hunting ducks perhaps two miles away. he shot a duck. the duck flew into our tent and was flapping all over me and the side of the tent. before the women got it. all of that.. and I slept right through it all.
Whew !!! I was never so scared in all my life!
very strange things happen here in the arctic. I have lots more to share with you. |
