| The problem with all the scaremongeing done by this administration is that people become desensitized. Just like the cops would check out a bomb threat, this should be taken seriously. If this is real, the US military are the ONLY ones who stop it. This is the same paper that broke the nuke story. |

Too many oil operations going on there.

I'm not a big fan of dooms-day type predictions. I've grown up with them my whole life. We're still waiting for that "big one" earthquake to hit.
However, preparing for emergencies is never a bad practice. Little things like having extra cash on hand and a camp stove. You never know when the power may go out due to storms or something.
Right after Katrina hit some one around here started a thread with suggestions on things to keep around for emergencies. I don't recall if it was in ramblings or general. Maybe now would be a good time to start another thread like that again? |

I know what it's like to run out of TP.
A friend of mine told me I could use a dollar. When he saw my crap covered hands, he asked,"Why didn't you use a dollar?" I told him I did, I use four quarters. |

| Saudi Arabia is no longer valueing it's oil in dollars as of today. Thats a finacial nuke on the US. |

ThomasPayne Man, does my stuff stink,or what
If you use quarters, when Dollar bills are required....um then what would
you use for a sponge bath,if no sponges were available.......

Hey Computer_Guy, I thought one of the reasons we attacked Iraq was
because Saddam was going to require payment of Iraqi oil in EURO's 
With the dollar dropping in price,it being equal to a Canadian Dollar, and
the EURO on the long term rise, maybe Saddam was looking out for his
countries economic interests. No wonder he had to go 
I beleive IRAN is/has threatened the same thing.Hmmmm.........
Time for some good ol' American(Bombs) Diplomacy
