Hey all,
I'm a bit of a Catholic history/mythology/politics enthusiast (though a newbie) and I thought perhaps this site would prove to be an interesting counterpoint to the more pro-Church religious forums to which I'm accustomed.
Academically and more seriously, my knowledge is in Eastern Europe and Russian history and current politics. I'll be lurking abroad about there next fall, in fact.
With regard to the rest of the forums, I've spent plenty a summer skulking around the observatory as well, so I'm also "looking for the truth" *grin*. I'm a skeptic typically, but only because I want real proof that something is out there.
