Fricken AWESOME!
Edward Norton nails it... And he deserves props for writing the screenplay.
The fight between Hulk and Abomination is stellar, the fight is a god damn half hour long!!! And Tim Roth is great also.
The FX are great, Hulk is so f'ing mean looking, in the 2003 movie he had a baby face, in this movie he has a sick face, his muscles aren't just big, they are grotesquely ripped and veiny.
The ending is great, in terms of future movies featuring Hulk... Let's just say that a certain other superhero who's movie kicked ass a short time ago makes a brief appearence, after hearing about what happened, and mentions to General Ross that he's starting a group... Scene changes to Banner in a dim room, meditating, then looks up grinning with glowing green eyes, as it appears that he has begun mastering controlling Hulk.
9/10 stars
I hope I didn't spoil anything.... Na, I could care less |

| Does it have the same annoying comicstyle splitscreens as the first one did? |

Nope.
The first movie was so horrible, I forgot that there was even a fight scene with a supervillan when I was making my post.
I'm pretty stoked about the Avengers movie coming out 2011... If for nothing else, they have an incredible potential cast, depending one the characters they use, it will probably be based various versions of the group... Robert Downey jr. as Iron Man, Ed Norton as Hulk, Toby Maguire as Spiderman, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine... I'm interested in who is gonna be playing Captain America... I've seen a ton of names mentioned on IMDB.com, except Paul Walker, I was gonna throw his name in the mix but you can't post comments unless you have bought crap from Amazon.com in the last year.
They allude to things about Captain America also in this movie... Tim Roth's character hears about the serum made during ww2, used to make Captain America a super soldier, and uses it inially to combat Hulk... Hulk kicked his ass when he was just on that serum.
Damn I'm a spoiler. |

Good thing I stop reading when you explain the movie
Good to know that comicbook crap is gone, think I'll check this one out after all. |

It was damn good indeed! The CGI was spectacular. The acting was mostly good (Liv Tyler sucked balls). The fight between Hulk and Abomination was... well it was good, but I expected better based on all the hype it had. I will say that it was fast paced enough that it didn't FEEL like a half-hour scene, but I wanted more! It had some very cool fanboy moments (Tony Stark at the end bringing up the Avengers, professor Sterns starting to turn into The Leader, super soldier serum, etc.)... but they apparently CUT a scene out of Banner in the arctic about to commit suicide and meeting up with Captain America. I was REALLY hoping for that scene to still be in the final cut!
All in all, I thought it was extremely good... BUT... I think Iron Man was better. |

Iron Man had a different director.
The fight wasn't 26 minutes... It was actually 10 minutes lol, they lied. |

I enjoyed those moments as well. A very well put together movie. And I agree that Ms Connelly did better than Liv Tyler as Betty. Though Sam Elliot also did a stellar Ross, in my opinion. Not that Willian Hurt didn't do good, just not as well as Elliot, to me.
I think the best part of the movie was Hulk protecting Betty from the helicopter and then carrying her off to the cave where they "talked". I'm kinda sucker for nobility. |
